Paper based Self-completion Research

Suited to many types of research (particularly in magazine) but particular uses of self completion include reader profile surveys, Editorial research and/ or Advertorial research. Least suited to product research of any sort and troubled titles.

Like online surveys a large number of questions can be asked and it is generally cost effective. However, it can be biased as only those who are happy or unhappy are likely to complete the questionnaire, generally lengthy research period, response rates can be poor, data quality can be questionable as respondents are completing themselves and spontaneous questions cannot be asked effectively.

As with other methodolgies, NSM can provide either part or full service depending on your requirements.
