Telephone Research

We are pleased to offer telephone research facilities, from our in-house Telephone Research Unit, conducting both consumer and business surveys. Executive interviewing is also undertaken by our specialist researchers.

Particular uses of telephone research include:

  • Lapsed readers/ members
  • NPD research
  • Pre & post advertising awareness/ effectiveness
  • Usage & attitude surveys
  • Concept testing
  • Customer satisfaction studies
  • Pre-press campaigns
  • Pre & post PR effectiveness
  • Employee satisfaction
  • Post exhibition research
  • Panel research

Like face to face methods, data quality is high and targeting/ screening is possible when interviewing over the telephone, but the telephone research can also be useful for accessing individuals who difficult to get hold of. However, as with face to face research the questionnaire cannot be too long, of a sensitive nature and costs can be higher than other methods and contact details will be needed.

Unlike many other companies, due to proximity of the telephone unit, our consultants are constantly in touch with the interviewers. As a result, we can instantly get a feel for the project, inform you of any issues which arise immediately and get the detail 'straight from the horses mouth'.
