Attitude Surveys - Postal
Objective An environmental pressure group wanted to survey supporters of a campaign to find out what they thought of the issues involved and what action they had taken.
Method A questionnaire was mailed to everyone involved in the particular campaign. Areas of questioning included actions taken, reasons for taking/ not taking action, other areas of involvement with the pressure group and other pressure groups involved with.
Results The organisation was able to judge the strength of feeling towards the campaign and the success of the public relations information circulated. It also enabled them to judge how passionate and active their members were on environmental issues generally.
